Ms. Kinser has high expectations for her students and encourages them to learn through creative, hands-on activities. She very much considers the "whole child" as an educator, caring about who they are and their well-being in addition to their academic success.
She finds what makes students"tick" and uses that to motivate them and encourage them. She is extremely respectful to not only her students, but of her parents. She respectfully and openly listens to parent communication, follows-up with concerns and is always open to what she can do to create a solid teacher/parent relationship to enhance a student's school experience.
She makes students and parents feel welcome in her classroom community. In a county where teacher stress is high, and this year has brought about many changes that have teachers feeling overwhelmed, she has buffered her students and parents from that stress.
Learning is still fun. Expectations are high, but she never puts a doubt in her students' or parents' mind that together,we can do this!
