HARRIMAN (WATE) - The suspect in the flashing case in Harriman has been arrested Friday night.

Chief Heidle with the Harriman Police Department says suspect James Lands was taken into custody Friday night on charges of exposing himself to a minor.

HPD says Lands was taken into custody without incident and will be booked in the Roane County Jail.

Chief Heidle says that Friday night they received calls about similar incidents occurring. Lands is believed to have been driving his mother's car, the one in released surveillance photos outside of the Kroger's.

6 News has been covering this since a viewer tipped us off to this occurrence.
