KNOXVILLE (WATE) - When driving, it's always nice to know which side of the road you're supposed to be on, but as one 6 News viewer pointed out, that's easier said than done in one part of town.

"Last year, Millertown Pike was paved and widened. They have yet to come and draw the stop lines at the lights from where Cracker Barrel down to McDonald's. They need to stripe that," said the viewer.

The area in question is just off Interstate 640 on Millertown Pike near Knoxville Center Mall.

Along with the missing stop lines and directional arrows, the viewer also notes that some motorists are having problems determining what is and what isn't a lane. They are say turn lanes have been adjusted and that it appears to have had an effect on the traffic light sensors.

We have sent off these concerns to the appropriate officials. As soon as we get a timetable on the restriping, we will let you know.
