KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Two people have now been charged in connection with an assault at a UT Strip fast food restaurant that became the subject of a viral video.

Police said the assault happened at Cook Out, 2135 Cumberland Avenue, on February 14.

Officers received numerous tips. They were able to identify and interview three suspects shortly after the incident.

A 17-year-old male was charged with simple assault in juvenile court. Police say he was the first person seen striking the victim in the video. The suspect was a high school student at the time.

A second man, Stevean Wilson, 19, was arrested Sunday night at the corner of Cherry Street and Mitchell Street. He is originally from Detroit, Mich. but now lives in Knoxville.

He has been charged with one count of aggravated assault and is being held in the Knox County Detention Facility on $30,000 bond.
