KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A man drove his car into the side of a Knox County veterinarian's office on Tuesday, causing some structural damage but no injuries.

State troopers say it happened just before 4 p.m. at the Clinton Highway Veterinary Hospital.

Officials say the driver apparently passed out before the car hit the wall. Troopers say he wasn't injured, but that a family member took him to the hospital for evaluation.

None of the office employees nor the four animals inside were hurt.

Workers were forced to remove medications and other items from the building however, due to fears that it may not be structurally sound.
