KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A new kiosk on the University of Tennessee campus means students, faculty and staff will not have to travel far to renew or replace their driver's license or state-issued ID card.

The Tennessee Department of Safety and Homeland Security announced Thursday it has installed a driver license self-service kiosk at Thompson-Boling arena.

The kiosk is available from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday inside the arena at 1600 Phillip Fulmer Way.

Members of the general public are welcome to use the kiosk as well. City metered parking is available outside the entrance closest to the kiosk.

Two other kiosks are available in Knoxville. One is located at AAA West Knoxville, 110 Capitol Drive, while the other is at the Strawberry Plains Driver Services Center, 7320 Region Lane.

Forty kiosks are in place around the state. A complete list of locations is available online.
