3 people unhurt after West Knoxville apartment break-in


KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Three people were uninjured Thursday night after an attempted robbery in West Knoxville.

On Thursday evening around 4 p.m., the Knoxville Police Department responded to an apparent attempted robbery at 6708 Deane Hill Drive.

Officers were made aware of the situation when Larry Edmonds, 29, arrived at nearby Arnstein Jewish Community Center stating that three male suspects had broken into his friends' apartment, and one of them was believed to be in possession of a firearm.

The three tenants of the apartment, Dylan Gordon, 23, Whitney Cantillo, 24, and Nathan Crass, 29, all of Knoxville, were unharmed.

The investigation into this incident is ongoing.
