Game 2: Smokies fall to Lookouts 1-0


KODAK, Tenn. (WATE)-- The Smokies dropped game 2 of their first home series on Thursday 1-0 to tie the series with the Chattanooga Lookouts 1-1. 

Chicago Cubs' right-hander Jake Arietta threw 4 scoreless innings as part of the Major League Rehab Assignment. He struck out 4 and had just three hits against him. 

Smokies Dae-Eun Rhee suffered the loss as he allowed the lone run on 4 hits in 4.2 innings of pitching.

The Smokies had just had just 4 hits in the game. 

The Smokies are now 2-5 on the season. 

The series continues on Friday night for the first fireworks show of the season.
