KNOXVILLE (WATE) - More than 100 World War II and Korean War veterans are traveling to our nation's capital Wednesday as part of HonorAir.

This is the 16th Knoxville HonorAir flight since the program began.

Veterans will tour the memorials that were built in their honor, along with the ceremonial changing of the guard at Arlington Cemetery, during the one day trip.

If you would like to be there to give them a hero's farewell or welcome, the veterans will arrive at McGhee Tyson Airport around 7:50 a.m., but the big party is at 8:15 p.m. when the flight comes back.

Organizers are hoping to see a big turnout for the veterans.
