SEYMOUR (WATE) - The Sevier County Sheriff's Office is asking for help in solving a marine battery theft in Seymour.

Sheriff Ron Seals says five marine batteries were taken on April 21 from Marine Outboard Specialties on S. Old Sevierville Pike.

The suspect and the vehicle used was caught on video surveillance.

The suspect is described as a white male with a medium build and tattoos on his right arm. He was wearing a blue shop-type shirt with a logo on the upper front, dark pants and a blue baseball cap.

He was driving a light colored Chevrolet Cavalier with two to three other people inside.
