HARROGATE (WATE) - Lincoln Memorial University reported storm damage Monday on its main Harrogate campus. The university says its emergency alert system was in effect and no one was injured.

The most substantial damage was reported at the LMU Pool in the Annan Natatorium where the roof lifted for a period of time. Several metal shingles also came loose. Staff and patrons took shelter in the Mary Mars Gymnasium.

One quarter of the roof of the black barn on LMU's property was blown off. Damage was also reported at Harrogate City Park where a light pole was toppled and other debris was collected. The score board at the intercollegiate soccer field behind Tex Turner Arena also sustained wind damage.

The university will continue to assess damage and is reminding the LMU community to remain vigilant as more storms move through the area.
