CLINTON (WATE) - Two women were arrested Tuesday, accused of running a prostitution operation out of an Anderson County spa business.

Young Hwa Park, 56, and Chong Kim, 68, both of Duluth, Ga., are charged with prostitution offenses. Both were taken to the Anderson County Detention Facility. Park was later released on bond.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Department began an investigation into prostitution activity at King Accupressure, which recently opened on Andersonville Highway, after being notified by the county law director's office.

The investigation ultimately led deputies to believe prostitution activity was happening at the business.

An undercover operation was conducted Tuesday, and an employee allegedly offered an investigator a sexual act in exchange for money.

Park and Kim were then arrested. The business license for King Accupressure was also seized as it was fraudulently obtained.

Landlords said they were unaware of the true nature of the business as it had been misrepresented to them as well.
