Juvenile driver killed, four others injured in Kentucky wreck

FLATLICK, Ky. (WATE) - One person is dead and another four injured following a weekend crash in Knox County, Kentucky.

Kentucky State Police say they responding to reports of an accident just before 2 a.m. Saturday on Turkey Creek Road in the Flatlick Community.

Troopers say a car had driven off the roadway and flipped onto its top.

By the time troopers had arrived, they say the car was fully engulfed in flames, with the driver trapped inside.

Officials say of the five passengers, four were taken to area hospitals for treatment, while another was treated and released at the scene.

Troopers say the driver, who was a juvenile, was pronounced dead on scene.
