Deputies say Goodman was identified on a surveillance video stealing batteries from Marine Outdoor Specialties, 733 Old Sevierville Pike, on April 22.

A citizen was able to identify Goodman after seeing the surveillance photos on local media. Deputies had been trying to arrest Goodman at his home, but he could never be located there.

Tommy Goodman was charged with theft over $500. He is out of jail on $2,500 bond.

James Goodman was also wanted on an outstanding warrant.
