Priority Ambulance announces expansion to Blount County

MARYVILLE (WATE) - Priority Ambulance announced Wednesday it is expanding its services to Blount County, bringing more than 20 jobs to the area.

The Blount County office will house Mercedes-Benz ambulances equipped with the latest in lifesaving technology.

Longtime Blount County resident Rob Webb will serve as Priority Ambulance's vice president of Tennessee operations. He is currently completing a second term on the Blount County School Board and has also served as a division general manager with Rural/Metro. He was also appointed by the governor to two terms on the Tennessee EMS Board.

Ron Packer will serve as director of operations for Blount County. parker has nearly 30 years of experience in emergency medical services and was market general manager and head of operations for Rural/Metro's Blount County operation.

Priority Ambulance's Blount County office will be located at 131 Cherokee Heights Drive in Maryville.
