SCALF, KY (WATE) – Kentucky State Police have made two arrests from a murder that happened May 9 in the Scalf Community of Knox County.

According to Kentucky State Police Detective Bryan Johnson, Patrick B. Baker, 36, of London, and Christopher B. Wagner, 36, of London were arrested around 7 p.m. Friday night and charged with murder.

KSP received a call the morning of May 9 requesting assistance from the Knox County Sheriff’s Department (Kentucky) after reports of a shooting.
Deputies believe Baker and Wagner forced their way through a residence by identifying themselves as law enforcement.

A struggle took place between the homeowner and one of the intruders, who then shot the homeowner.

Investigators believe Baker and Wagner left the residence in a maroon 4-door Ford F-150 with tinted windows, chrome steps, and a chrome front push bar.

Donald Mills, 29, of Scalf, KY was transported to the Knox County Hospital by his wife where he was pronounced dead.
