KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Donnie Tyndall remains on the prowl for basketball players-- and it appears he's landed two from his former school.

Tennessee confirmed on Tuesday that they have signed Devin Baulkman, 6-5, 200-pound guard from Bainbridge, Ga.

Baulkman has spent the past two years at Gulf Coast State College in Panama City. He plans to enroll at UT this summer and will be a junior next season with two years of eligibility remaining.

“Devon is another versatile, long, athletic guy that fits our system really well,” Tyndall said. “He can play all three perimeter positions, and that versatility will allow him to contribute immediately to our team.”

On Tuesday night, 6 Sports learned that the Vols are expected to sign 6-8 post player Willie Carmichael.

Both Baulkman and Carmichael signed with Tyndall at Southern Miss-- and been granted their releases by the school.

Tennessee would not confirm the Carmichael move on Tuesday night.
