BRICEVILLE (WATE) - Two men were arrested Sunday after allegedly breaking into a coal company in Briceville.

The Anderson County Sheriff's Office says they were called to Southern Coal Company on Airbase Lane for a report of a burglary in process. A security guard said he chased the two suspects into the woods after confronting them.

Deputies located both men after a search and arrested them.

Louis Edward Goodman, 24, and Christopher Houston Harness, 24, were charged with burglary, felony theft of property and criminal trespassing. Goodman was also charged with unlawful use of body armor as he was wearing a bulletproof vest at the time. Harness was also charged with possession of burglary tools.

Both are being held in the Anderson County Detention Facility. Bonds have not yet been set.
