CHATTANOOGA (WATE) -  The final installment of 6 News Good Morning Tennessee’s One Tank Trip series takes us to Chattanooga.

It’s a great place to go that also won’t cost you a lot of time or money to get there.

Chattanooga is less than two hours down the road from Knoxville.

And of course, no trip to there would be complete without a visit to the Tennessee Aquarium.

But even if you’ve been before, it’s worth another visit, due to their brand new otter exhibit.

It was just unveiled to the public at the beginning of May.

Inside the exhibit are seven of the most rambunctious North American River Otters around.

The otter’s home is now triple the size it used to be.

"Gave them much more land area, plus several different pools that they can play in, plus logs, waterfalls, everything,” said Courtney Lewis, one of the head otter keepers at the Tennessee Aquarium.

Visitors now have a much closer up view of the otters both above and below the water.

"Kids love it. Adults love it. Everybody can see whether you're standing up tall or you're down here at the window,” said Lewis.

A big hit with the kids is the new underwater viewing window.

But our trip to Chattanooga doesn’t end there.

Another great place to visit is the new High Point Climbing & Fitness, located in the heart of downtown, just steps away from the Tennessee Aquarium.

Hanging high above the streets are High Point’s massive outdoor climbing walls.

In what used to be a movie theater, High Point features 28,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor climbing walls that stretch as high as 60 feet.

Thanks to those outdoor walls, High Points has been slammed with new customers since their December opening.

"Because we're in the heart of downtown Chattanooga, we see a ton of foot traffic,” said Lyndsey Kytle, assistant manager of High Point Climbing.

Kytle says there’s no need to be intimidated if you’ve never done it before.

Most of their customers are first-timers.

After going through a step by step orientation, you can be climbing within 20 minutes of arrival.

A trained staff member will guide you through the process the entire time.

"The more you can breathe and the more you can tell yourself you're going to do it and you're gonna get to the top, the better you'll do,” said Kytle.

They guarantee that once you try it, you’ll keep coming back.

"The interest is sparked. And then once they see everything else that they can do, they are even more excited,” said Kytle. “It really boosts your confidence and also feel really accomplished."
