PIGEON FORGE (WATE) - A Pigeon Forge restaurant is looking to hire more than two hundred people.

If you like Pina Coladas or wasting away in Margaritaville, you are in luck. Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville will start serving up food and drinks next month, and they need help.

"We're looking for pretty much anything in the restaurant business - bussers, servers, cooks, bartenders - so we're really excited to be here," said General Manager Jason Edwards.

They are hosting a job fair all this week looking to fill nearly 250 full and part time jobs before their grand opening.

"It's a great expanding area especially right here on The Island. [It's a] fun place to work, exciting, fun, fun atmosphere. I love my job," said Edwards.

Kyle King filled out his application Wednesday hoping for a fresh start in the restaurant business.

"I am very excited and can't wait to start," he said.

King and other applicants like Amber Carroll say it is always good to hear of more jobs in the area--especially hundreds.

"The economy has been down so people have been losing their jobs but now it's season time so they get to come back and get more jobs open. It's awesome! I think it's great for the whole town," said Carroll.

They say serving up "cheeseburgers in paradise" does not hurt either.

"It's a new attraction and I figured it would be fresh and fun, kind of young, so it's going to be awesome," said Carroll.

The job fair continues through Saturday.

If you want to apply just go to The Island at 131 Island Drive, Suite 8101, Pigeon Forge.

The restaurant is not the only Jimmy Buffett themed attraction at The Island. The Margaritaville Hotel is being built next door and is scheduled to open later this year.

Another restaurant is getting ready to open this summer at The Island. Paula Deen Ventures began work earlier this year to open a new restaurant and retail operation called Paula Deen's Family Kitchen.

It is set to open later this summer.
