KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A West Knoxville pharmacy was robbed at gunpoint early Wednesday morning, and police are now searching for the suspects.

It happened just after 3 a.m. at the Walgreens in the 100 block of North Northshore Drive.

Two employees told officers that two suspects demanded money from the register.

One was armed with a gun, and the other was armed with a knife.

Police says they took an undetermined amount of cash and several packs of cigarettes before taking off on foot.

Employees described one suspect as black and the other white, and both were wearing bandanas covering their faces. They were 5'6" to 5'9" and had medium builds.
