Kentucky man dies two days after Harlan car crash

HARLAN, Ky. (WATE) - A London, Ky. man died two days after a two vehicle crash in Harlan.

Kentucky State Police say the crash happened at the junction of US 25-E and KY 233 at 2:33 p.m. on May 23.

The investigation indicates Patricia Brown of Dewitt was turning left from US 25-E onto KY 233 in her 2004 Ford Taurus when she failed to yield the right of way, pulling into the path of Roy Sizemore, 71, of London, Ky.

Police say Sizemore was traveling north on US 25E.

Brown was taken to Knox County Hospital for minor injuries. Her three passengers refused medical treatment.

Sizemore was flown to UT Medical Center in Knoxville. He died from his injuries on May 25.

No alcohol or drugs are suspected in the crash, which remains under investigation.
