ATHENS (WATE) - A McMinn County man was arrested and charged with illegally possessing a gambling device at a bar he owns.

Tennessee Bureau of Investigation special agents began investigating David Thomas Ingle, 54, on March 6. Ingle owns the Double O on Highway 30 in Athens.

Agents searched the business on March 12 and seized two video poker machines.

The McMinn County Grand Jury indicted Ingle on May 20, charging him with one count of possession of a gambling device. Ingle turned himself in Wednesday and was later released on $5,000 bond.

The case remains active and the TBI says additional arrests are possible in the future.
