PIGEON FORGE (WATE) - A Pigeon Forge woman was sentenced in federal court Monday to more than 12 years in prison on child pornography charges.

Kelly Louise Fitzmaurice, 34, pleaded guilty in February to a federal indictment charging her with possession and distribution of child pornography. A judge sentenced her Monday to 151 months in prison.

According to a plea agreement, 28 videos and 177 images of child pornography were found on Fitzmaurice's computer. Some of the images depicted known child victims, sexually explicit images of prepubescent children, and portrayals of sadistic or masochistic conduct.

The indictment and conviction were the result of an investigation conducted by the Federal Bureau of Investigation and the Internet Crimes Against Children Unit of the Harriman Police Department.
