Search for runaway Knox County teen leads to weapons, arrests

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The search for a runaway teen girl led Knox County deputies to the discovery of weapons, drugs and to several arrests.

Deputies say the Knox County Sheriff's Office Juvenile Crime Task Force was looking for a DCS runaway juvenile. The investigation led officers to 1315 Stoney Point Road where they arrested two adults and three juveniles.

One adult and one juvenile each had a loaded 9 millimeter gun.

Paul Boehm, 18, was charged with unlawful possession/carrying of a weapon, contributing to the delinquency of a minor, simple possession, and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Jennifer Haar, 31, was charged with contributing to the delinquency of a minor.  There was also an outstanding warrant issued in criminal court for failure to appear.

The runaway, a 16-year-old girl, was arrested for possession of drug paraphernalia. A 17-year-old boy was arrested for simple possession of marijuana.

A 16-year-old boy was charged with possession of a firearm, possession of marijuana, and possession of drug paraphernalia. Officers found bagged marijuana for resale and digital scales.
