In the conversation, he makes repeated biblical references saying he believes the world is controlled by evil.

In the call, he admits to killing three people including his sister and said he wanted to be killed by police.

“My name is David, from the Bible, Prince David,” Smith told the 911 operator. “I'm a wanted murderer from Polk County Florida. I killed three people two days ago.”

Smith went on to tell police his intention is to die in a shootout with police.

“I have a 40-caliber rifle in my possession right now and I'm calling you right now so I can have it out with the police because I'm ready to go to my death to claim the world because I am life,” Smith said.

Smith confessed to killing three people.

"One of the people I killed on the 24th in Lakeland Florida was my sister and the other one was a male and another one is Miranda Mims,” Smith said. “I admit to doing it."

Smith blamed his sister’s homosexuality for the murder, saying she needed to be cleansed.

Despite killing before, he said he did not want to kill again.

“I do not have intention of hurting anyone else,” Smith said. “The world is under evil control right now. I swear on my life. I have understanding of a lot of things in the bible."

"I am making my statement very clear,” Smith continues. “I will not be taken alive."

According to the Knox County Sheriff’s Office, Smith died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound.
