KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Two juveniles, 14 and 16-years-old, were arrested early Sunday morning after allegedly robbing the BreadBox on Sutherland Avenue.

The Knoxville Police Department says around midnight officers responded to the call of an armed robbery. Upon arrival, the clerk informed officers that two teenage suspects had entered the store and demanded cash.

According to the clerk, one of the suspects was armed with a knife. While on scene investigating, a witness informed officers that two teenage males he did not know had approached his residence asking for a ride to Sapphire Street.

The witness said that he gave the two boys a ride to that location. Officers responded to that residence and found two teenage males who matched the description.

Officers transported the two suspects to the Bread Box, where they were identified by the clerk as the two suspects.

The two are being charged with Aggravated Robbery.
