KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Two ongoing road projects in the area are leaving some 6 News viewers asking questions.

Paul recently emailed, asking about some work in West Knox County. He writes: "Do you have any details into what's happening along Middlebrook near Ball Camp?"

Crews are creating a new turn lane just across from a new road that has gone in. The lane closures run between the intersections with Ball Camp Pike and Hoyle Beals Drive.

The work runs each day from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. until complete.

Pat, another 6 News viewer, has concerns about an ongoing project in Blount County.

Pat wrote: "The construction to widen Hwy 33 at the end of Pellissippi Parkway.  There are no signs to slow down speed anywhere through the construction. Confusing traffic patterns change frequently in this heavy traffic area without any posted notices."

We were in the area on Tuesday morning. We saw a number of orange barrels and very little signage. The concerns are a lack of posted speed reminders, as well as alerts to changes in the traffic patterns...

We are going to contact crews to get more information on this project as far as timelines, as well as inquire about some of the issues to which Pat was referring.
