KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The severe weather rolling through the Knoxville area Tuesday evening is leaving behind a trail of damage.

The roof blew off Beaty Chevrolet on Parkside Drive in West Knoxville. Various other damage and downed trees and power lines were also reported.

Over 28,000 Knoxville Utilities Board customers were without electricity as of 6:30 p.m.

Northshore Drive was closed at Queensbridge Drive after a tree fell on a vehicle. No one was reported injured.

A tractor trailer was reported overturned on U.S. Highway 25W in Clinton. It's not yet known if the crash was weather related.
