Casting Call Posted for Big Movie Shoot in Asheville

ASHEVILLE, N.C. -

Hollywood is headed to Western North Carolina, and you're invited to be one of the stars.

The major motion picture "Untitled Armored Car Project" will be filming in Asheville this July and August. Before they begin, they need to hire extras. So Tona B. Dahlquist Casting has posted a casting call on its Facebook page.

Those interested in working on the film, should submit a current photo along with the following information:

  • Name
  • Phone
  • Age
  • Height/Weight
  • Clothing Sizes
  • Color/Make/Model/Year of the Vehicle You Drive
  • City / State You Reside in

Submissions should be sent to ashevilleextras@gmail.com. Only submissions sent to this email address will be considered for this particular project. In the heading of the email, include your ethnicity, gender, age, and the city and state in which you live.

The Film Catalogue reports "Untitled Armored Car Project" is a comedy about a naïve bank employee who decides to rob the financial institution for money, love, and a life he's only dreamed of. The film will feature Zach Galifianakis, Owen Wilson and Kristen Wiig. It's set for release in August 2015.
