Powerball ticket worth $259.8M purchased in Knoxville

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A lucky person who bought their Powerball ticket in Knoxville won the $259.8 million jackpot Wednesday.

The Tennessee Lottery says no information will be known about the winner until the prize is claimed. 

This is the largest prize in Tennessee lottery history.

If the Powerball winner takes the lump-sum payment, the cash value is $153.5 million.

The winning numbers were 14-18-25-33-49, Powerball: 23.

The winner has 180 days from the day of the drawing to claim the prize.

In addition to Wednesday's winner, a Bellevue mother and son won a Mega Millions jackpot of $61 million in January.
