KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Police are searching for the suspects that robbed a North Knoxville convenience store early Friday morning.

The robbery happened just after midnight at the Pilot in the 2500 block of North Broadway. Two suspects armed with semi-automatic handguns entered the store and took a small amount of cash from the register. One of the suspects did fire his weapon into a cigarette display during the robbery. No one was injured.

The suspects took off after the robbery and are still at large. One suspect is described as a black male wearing a black hoodie, clean shaven, with a thin to medium build. The second suspect is described as a black male wearing a black t-shirt, dark pants, a khaki colored fishing style hat, dark tennis shoes with white soles.
