LAFOLLETTE (WATE) - The LaFollette Police Department have reported finding a large quantity of marijuana butter and marijuana candy during a routine traffic stop.

Police say around 4:30 a.m. Friday morning, officers stopped a white 1998 Chevrolet S-10 Blazer that ran a stop sign at South Indiana Avenue and East Beech Street.

The driver, Joseph Isabell, 36 from Flint, Mich., told officers his driver's license was suspended. Officers called for a K-9, which indicated the presence of drugs in the vehicle.

Officers recovered about marijuana, 91 marijuana suckers, 60 marijuana gingerbread men and 16 pounds of marijuana butter. Officers say the suckers and candy were packaged for resale.

Officers also found an electronic device used for smoking marijuana and materials to make more candy.

Isabell was charged with ignoring a traffic control device, driving on a suspended license, felony possession of Schedule VI for resale, felony possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a firearm in commission of a felony.
