State lottery officials say the store will receive $25,000 for selling the winning jackpot ticket, in addition to what will very likely be a few more lottery customers in search of similar good fortune.

"It's very exciting just to think not only the winner is in Tennessee, in Knoxville Tennessee, but actually here at this store so we're very excited," said store manager Michael Shorter.

The jackpot winner in last Wednesday's Powerball drawing still has not come forward. Lottery officials advise the lucky ticket holder to sign the back of the ticket, keep it in a secure location, consult with financial and/or legal advisors, and call the lottery headquarters in Nashville before coming to claim the prize.
