KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A man was electrocuted Monday morning while working in a West Knoxville office building.

Officials were called to the Landmark Center, 1111 N. Northshore Drive around 8 a.m. Knoxville Fire Department spokesman D.J. Corcoran says an electrician was on a ladder in the fourth floor of the building working on wires when he suffered a shock.

He was rushed to the hospital.

The medical examiner's office says the man died of his injuries, but would not release any further details.
