TORREY, Utah (AP) - A man and woman from Knoxville, Tenn. were killed in a head-on collision in Utah's Capitol Reef National Park.

The Utah Highway Patrol says Stephen Foster, 43, and Kristina Foster, 41, of Knoxville, Tenn., were pronounced dead at the scene Wednesday morning.

Troopers say the Fosters were eastbound on State Route 24 near Torrey when the driver of an oncoming pickup truck drifted off the roadway, overcorrected and then struck the Fosters' car.

According to troopers, the Fosters were not wearing seat belts and were ejected from the car.

The truck driver, whose name was not released, was taken to a local hospital with minor injuries.

The cause of the 9 a.m. accident is under investigation.
