KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville firefighters were able to put out an overnight fire, but not without some trouble from the home's contents.

Knoxville Fire Department officials say they responded to the Mayfield Avenue home just before midnight on Friday to find heavy smoke billowing from the windows and doors.

Crews say they had a difficult time advancing their water hoses into the home because of a dangerous amount of clutter inside the house.

Authorities say a 60-year-old woman who lives inside the home had already evacuated by the time they arrived.

No injuries were reported. The American Red Cross will provide the woman with a temporary place to stay.
