Berry Holds Knoxville Camp

KNOXVILLE (WATE) - The season is still months away but Fulton's Football field was getting plenty of use Saturday. Organizers estimated more than 275 kids showed up for former Vol Eric Berry's annual camp.

The Kansas City pro bowler is in the fourth year of hosting his camp in Knoxville for kids age 7-17. Not only does this camp offer expert instruction from pro players like Berry but, the best part, it's free for all the kids. "
Me being younger and my brothers being younger, you know, everybody doesn't always have money to give to get their kids into camp," Berry explained. "So we tried to touch on that aspect of just saving whatever money they have and coming out here and teaching the kids something."

The three-time pro bowler is entering his fifth season in Kansas City and getting ready to watch his twin brothers, Elliott and Evan begin their freshman seasons at Tennessee.
