BLUFF CITY, TN (WJHL) -

A woman accused of shooting her husband in the back Sunday was found a few hours later in Sevierville with the couple's two children.

According to a news release from the Sullivan County Sheriff's Office, Misty Lee Addair, 32, of Pleasant Grove Road, Bluff City, was charged with attempted first-degree murder and aggravated assault.

Her husband, Stephen Addair, was found by his parents around 1 p.m. Sunday lying in the woods.

According to the sheriff's office, Stephen Addair said his wife shot him as they were checking a trail camera they had installed in the woods behind their home. Misty Addair then reportedly left the scene.

Stephen Addair then crawled through the woods, yelling for help until his parents found him.

He underwent surgery at Johnson City Medical Center, where he was listed in serious condition Monday morning.

Misty Addair was found in Sevierville around 4 p.m. Sunday by police.

Her children, who were with her, were given to a family member.

She was scheduled to be arraigned Monday morning.

Addair was set at $25,000 bond, but she has since bonded out.
