TELLICO PLAINS (WATE) - A Knoxville woman was arraigned on charges of plotting to kill her husband on Monday nearly eight years after.

Monroe County deputies discovered the body of Martha Ann McClancy's first husband in 2006.

In 2012, Charles Kaczmarczyk told investigators he and McClancy conspired to make it look like a suicide.

 Kaczmarcyk pled guilty in 2013.

McClancey was indicted by a Monroe County grand jury last November, but at the time, she was in federal prison on fraud-related charges.

Upon her recent release from prison, McClancy was transported to the Monroe County jail and was arraigned on two charges of First Degree Murder and conspiracy to commit murder.
