Greene Co. teen convicted of accessory after the fact to second degree murder

GREENEVILLE (WJHL/WATE) - One of four teens was found guilty Tuesday in a murder investigation that sparked a manhunt in two states.

Liam Lawler is guilty of being an accessory after the fact to Second Degree murder as well as theft.

This happened in the Greene County Juvenile Court on Tuesday. 

Lawler is scheduled to be sentenced on August 26. 

Previous Story: Friend of murder suspect says there was tension

 Last week, Shelby Riley, one of those also involved in the case, pleaded guilty to the same charges. 

Riley was given three years probation.

Daniel Birchfield-Richards and Zachary Blanchard could both be tried as adults in the case.

Blanchard is charged with first degree murder for his father's murder back in April.

Birchfield-Richards is charged with accessory after the fact.
