HENDERSON, Tenn. -
Zachary Adams, behind bars for the 2011 kidnapping and murder of nursing student Holly Bobo, now faces additional charges in Chester County for assaulting three jail officers.
According to documents obtained by News 2, the officers were attempting to move Adams from his cell at the Chester County jail to another area of the facility after he made suicidal comments on June 13.
Specifically, Adams threatened to “throw himself from the highest point to which he could climb inside his cell.”
Adams was being moved to a specialized cell for 24/7 observation when he hit the officers and tried to trip them, the warrant states.
He was charged with assault.
Adams, 30, is charged alongside Jason Autry with aggravated kidnapping and first degree murder in the Bobo case.
