KNOXVILLE (WATE) - A new craft beer pub and restaurant is coming to Knoxville in August.

Carolina Ale House will be located at 9045 Kingston Pike.

The restaurant chain has 23 locations in the Southeast already, but this will be their first location in Tennessee.

“We can’t wait to get to Tennessee,” stated Lou Moshakos, Owner of LM Restaurants, the hospitality management group affiliated with the Tennessee location. “We’ve been eyeing Knoxville for years and finally the right location became available.” Moshakos also confirmed is looking for Carolina Ale House sites in in Nashville, Chattanooga and Clarksville. “We’re very interested in expanding the concept throughout the state.”

Carolina Ale House says they make fresh, never frozen food, and will house around 72 draft beers with 30 percent of those being craft beer selections, and more than 100 bottles available.

The new location is expected to provide more than 100 jobs in West Knoxville.
