DANDRIDGE (WATE) - A massive fire left a Jefferson County home in ruins on Saturday night, according to the Dandridge Fire Department.

Firefighters say the flames broke out just before 10 p.m. at a house at Angel Cove near Douglas Lake.

Authorities say the home was already fully engulfed in flames by the time of their arrival.

While the home is considered a total loss, firefighters say they were able to keep the flames from spreading to a nearby garage.

Officials say no one was inside at the time of the fire, and that no one was hurt.

The cause of the fire remains under investigation.
