CROSSVILLE (WATE) - A Cumberland county teacher charged with murdering her boyfriend remains in jail without bond.

Stephanie Cole was accused of shooting and killing Louis Tammaro, Jr. at a home on Ackia Drive in the Lake Tansi area last month.

A hearing was held Monday. Two investigators testified and said Cole had dried blood on her arms when he arrived, and she had admitted that she had killed her boyfriend when asked. A TBI officer also testified and said he found Tammaro's body inside a blanket, along with a pair of latex gloves.
