KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Knoxville police are looking for a man accused of vandalizing and breaking into an auto shop.

It happened at the Sapphire Automotive Group located at 4712 Central Avenue Pike. A Knoxville Police Crime Unit was on the scene.

The owner said it happened over July 4th weekend.

Investigators believed the suspect is a former employee who was fired for stealing a car.

The suspect wasn't able to break into the main office, but he managed to get into two cars on the lot. Police say he stole several items.

The suspect is described as white and weighing 160 pounds.

He has partially gray hair and believed to be in his 40's.
