ONEIDA (WATE) - An Oneida woman faces charges of stealing around $43,000 from her employer after an investigation by the Tennessee Bureau of Investigation.

Misty Lynn Blevins, 31, is charged with theft over $10,000.

TBI Special Agents began investigating Blevins in April at the request of 8th District Attorney General Lori-Phillips Jones.

Agents developed information that Blevins, while working for S & L Products in Huntsville, transferred money from the business Paypal account to her personal Paypal account without the company's consent.

Investigators ultimately allege she stole approximately $43,000 between August 2012 and January 2014.

The Scott County Grand Jury returned an indictment on Blevins Tuesday. She turned herself into TBI agents at the Scott County jail the following day and was released on $25,000 bond.
