LOUISVILLE (WATE) - A man was killed after being struck by a train in Louisville early Saturday morning.

According to the Blount County Sheriff's Office, around 2 a.m. CSX Rail notified the Sheriff's Office that one of their trains had struck a pedestrian.

The victim has been identified as Benjamin Allen Drain, 32, of Louisville. His body was sent to the Tennessee Forensics Center this morning, where an autopsy was performed.

The Blount County Sheriff's Office Criminal Investigation Division is investigating further into this incident.
