THP investigating fatal accident involving motorcycle in Greene County

GREENE COUNTY, TN (WJHL) -

The Tennessee Highway Patrol is investigating an accident in Mosheim that claimed a man's life. 

Sergeant Bill Miller says the accident happened around 1:55 p.m. Monday afternoon at the intersection with Highway 11E and Dulaney Road. 

According to THP, 58-year-old Betty Brown of Greeneville pulled out in front of a motorcycle driven by 70-year-old Ronald Williams, also of Greeneville. 

THP says Williams died as a result of the crash. 

The report from THP says drugs and alcohol are not considered to be factors in the wreck. 

THP says charges are pending and a follow up report will be issued.
