KNOXVILLE (WATE) - Low pressure to southwest of Knoxville will continue to spin moisture from the Gulf of Mexico into East Tennessee bringing a significant change to our weather pattern.
Humidity returns and clouds thicken leading to rain returning to the forecast. Rain will be more scattered Friday, then more widespread on Saturday.
Some models are indicating 2 to 4 inches of rain along the plateau through Saturday with lesser amounts in the valley. Rain becomes more scattered Sunday into early next week with temperatures a bit below average.
